LED - Surface Mount Correctional Luminaire Tamper-proof prison lighting fixture designed for correctional facilities, vandal resistant, secure, and built to last. The VRS-3489 LED luminaire is engineered specifically for high-risk environments where safety, durability, and tamper resistance are non-negotiable. Designed for prison lighting applications, this surface-mounted fixture combines robust construction with advanced LED technology to deliver reliable illumination in correctional facilities. Its clamshell design, concealed hinges, and tamper-proof fasteners make it ideal for areas requiring maximum security and minimal maintenance. Whether wall- or ceiling-mounted, the VRS-3489 is purpose-built for correctional facility lighting. Its housing is precision die-formed from 12, 14, or 16-gauge cold rolled steel, with continuously welded end plates for added strength. The backplate includes embossed mounting holes and a contraband trap, helping prevent concealment of unauthorized items. A full-length concealed piano hinge and tamper-resistant TORX® fasteners ensure the fixture remains secure and inaccessible to tampering. The luminaire supports multiple lens configurations, including prismatic acrylic, polycarbonate, and tempered glass, with a combined maximum thickness of 0.625 inches offering flexibility without compromising security. Inside, long-life LEDs paired with high-efficiency drivers deliver L80 performance beyond 50,000 hours. Standard low-voltage dimming (0–10V, 1%) and optional DALI or Triac interfaces provide adaptable lighting control.
