HeyeBeam is a free cross-reference and directory tool for the lighting industry, operated by Heye Lab. By using it you agree to these terms.

What the data is — and isn't

Product information, spec sheets, and cross-references are compiled from publicly available manufacturer sources and industry documents. Cross-references are informational starting points, not certified substitutions. Products shown as equals may differ in photometrics, dimensions, listings, controls compatibility, or code compliance.

Always verify with the manufacturer or your local representative before specifying, quoting, or purchasing. Compliance claims (BAA, BABA, TAA, Made in USA) are manufacturer-asserted — HeyeBeam reports them, it does not certify them. Confirm compliance for the specific SKU and project.

No warranty

HeyeBeam is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to keep the data accurate and current, but we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the data. If you find an error, we want to know — tell us.

Directory listings

Rep-agency and engineering-firm listings are compiled from those organizations' own public websites and public industry directories. We never fabricate contact information. If your organization is listed and you want a correction, an update, or removal, contact us and we will act on it promptly.

Acceptable use

Use HeyeBeam for your work: looking up products, finding equals, reaching reps and specifiers. Don't scrape the site at bulk beyond the export tools we provide, misrepresent HeyeBeam data as manufacturer-certified, or use directory contacts for spam.

Trademarks

Manufacturer names, brand names, and SKUs belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification and cross-reference purposes only. HeyeBeam is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the manufacturers listed. (And to head off one common mix-up: we are not Crossref.org, the scholarly DOI registry.)

Changes

HeyeBeam is in public beta — features and data will change. We may update these terms; the date below is current. Material changes will be noted on this page.
