Engineered for high-abuse areas, this 4” recessed luminaire is built to perform under pressure. Rated IK10 for impact resistance and IP65 for ingress protection, it’s a robust solution for demanding public and institutional spaces where durability and reliability are non-negotiable. Designed for tamper-proof performance, the VRD4 features a rigid 18-gauge steel install frame and a sealed optical assembly secured with Torx™ tamper-resistant screws. The lens is made from high-impact polycarbonate and sealed into the trim with EPDM gaskets, ensuring a clean, secure fit that resists forced entry and environmental wear. Whether installed in public parks, day rooms, or entryways, this fixture maintains its integrity and appearance over time. The VRD4 isn’t just tough, it’s smart. Its COB-style LED engine is factory-sealed yet field-replaceable, offering high efficiency and consistent color performance across a wide range of CCT options (2700K to 5000K) with standard 80 CRI and optional 90 CRI. Tunable white options (2700K–6500K) are also available for dynamic lighting needs. With a lifetime L70 rating exceeding 60,000 hours, this downlight minimizes maintenance and maximizes uptime.
